Smelloscope

A smelloscope is a powerful telescope with additional olfactory (smell) capacity. So when pointed at a target, not only do you see it, but you smell it.

Smelloscope

While ingenious, the device can also be dangerous when observing very stinky things or creatures.

Recently Dash, Rob, Greta and Ellen were exploring deep in the Moremi Forest when they spotted a pack of unidentified scallywags in the distance. Rob tried to identify them using a smelloscope.

But unknown to our heroes, they had come across a pack of Skunk Scallywags, which are famously stinky. The smell is so bad that it can actually knock someone out.

Rob was overwhelmed within seconds, and it took a few minutes for the others to pass out. Luckily Dash was wearing an Earlobe Transponder (an ELT 34) which he activated just as he faded. The message alert was picked up by Mr. Rosebank and they were rescued by a Forest Rescue Triplocopter that happened to be operating in that sector.

The smelloscope is manufactured by Siena Industries Corporation.
