Highly-dangerous weapon used exclusively by Sock-Scallywags.
These seemingly innocuous things appear to be normal socks. But when thrown during combat can knock out an opponent. They don't actually hurt when they hit you, but seem to make your muscles go slack. So if you get hit by a bunch of them, you simply slump to the ground.
Elijah Froffington is known to use them.
