Umfalala Pies
Incredibly delicious pies made from umfalala fruit, i.e. the fruit of an umfalala tree. Pick the fruits only when they are completely ripe, otherwise they taste of windshield-wiper fluid. Peel off the skin, slice them into nose-shaped segments and then add them to the pie-dough. Add lemon juice and sugar. It is critically important that you cut the pieces of fruit into the correct nose-shaped shape. If you don’t, the pie will taste awful. Not like windshield-wiper fluid, but like old soap. And old soap tastes terrible. Much worse than new soap, believe-you-me. One last thing. NEVER over-cook an umfalala pie. They are highly explosive when overcooked.
