Transformation
Transformation (in the case of this book) is the temporary process through which something or someone undergoes a marked change in form, nature, or appearance.

There are three main forms of transformation:
- [1] Non-living to non-living (like a shoe into a book).
- [2] Non-living to living (like a shoe into a shoe that is alive and can walk and talk).
- [3] Living to living non-living (like a person into a living potato).
NOTE that it is not possible to turn a living thing into a non-living thing.
So one cannot turn a person into a potato. But one can turn a person into an alive potato (i.e. a potato that can walk and talk and breathe).
