The Annual Cycle Race

What happened

After school, the Annual Cycle Race was held at the Swedhump racetrack. Participants included Dash, Rob, Greta, Ellen, Gronville, Collum, Shereena, Jonjon-Jonjon-Jonjon, Jeanjean-Jeanjean-Jeanjean and others riding various pedal-powered cycles. Gronville tried to distract competitors by humming in an annoying way and was disqualified. Penguins got in the way thirty-two times. Rob lost his hat on the final lap. Ellen won and was handed the coveted Golden Crankshaft trophy by Mrs. Rosebank.

Resolution

Ellen Ellenbogen won the race and was awarded the Golden Crankshaft trophy. An epic feast with snausages followed.
