Visit to Old Man Trundle-Humple in the trees

What happened

After PTH's arrest, Dash, Rob and Greta went to find PTH's father, Semaphorius Trundle-Humple, at his tree house on the far end of the island. They found him asleep in a hummock, unaware of events. When woken, he told them he had no wish to return to his old job and loved his retirement. The group reported back to the police.

Resolution

Old Man Trundle-Humple confirmed he did not want his job back. The police were informed and PTH was given a choice: prison on Witch Nose Island or work in the Botanical Gardens and swear to King Cockroach never to break the law again. PTH chose the latter, apologized, and she and the Mainly Smiles were flown back to the Botanical Gardens.
