School evacuation to the Pickled-Cucumber Building

What happened

Back at school, everyone had heard the explosions on the hill and Mrs. Rosebank had ordered everyone to take shelter in the Pickled-Cucumber Building. All classes were cancelled, including Library again.

Resolution

The all-clear was implied when the group returned to school and the end-of-week treat-fest proceeded. Ms. Grimstead was cheered up by the promise of ice cream.
