A gralarm is a Grisbium-type alarm. The one Dash uses is a Grisbium 800. This is a robotic alarm clock that will never fail to wake you up. While it is a machine, it is closely based on an actual real-life Grisbium. Grisbiums are creatures that live deep in the foothills, and are noted for their sunrise anthems, officially known as the Grisbium Dawn Chorus.
